BOOMTOWN BRASS BAND

Houston's premier traditional jazz band! Specializing in New Orleans and Chicago-style jazz of the 1920s and 1930s, Boomtown Brass Band will keep dancers entertained all night with our lively, hot jazz from the "Gatsby" era. IDOL GOSSIP

Idol Gossip was a cool jazz ensemble based on the Gerry Mulligan piano-less quartets of the 1950s and 60s. We performed transcriptions or wrote our own arrangements within the classic "cool"-era style. It was a fun project while it lasted, but now exists only in this YouTube space—we have considered reviving the project in the future.

Clouseaux: A founding member (2001-04) of Houston's finest tiki and exotica musical outfit. We built music for retro enjoyment, ultra-lounging, and mostly to showcase fire-breathing at our live performances.
